http://driftthrubooks.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Meandering, whimsical non-reviews of books and ruminations on reading. Friday, October 22, 2010. My reading wish list. This is what I am dying to read:. The Master of Hestiviken. And/or the Kristin Lavransdatter Trilogy. Have read one (or was it two? Of these books set in medieval Norway, when I was 15. Would dearly love to read both the entire series from the beginning. Undset won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1928. Indiaplaza has a couple of books from the latter series. Twilight by Katherine Mosby.

Drift through books: May 2011

Meandering, whimsical non-reviews of books and ruminations on reading. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. The Matisse Stories - AS Byatt. At the outset, apologies if the writing is bad – I haven’t written much in a while and am rusty. It has been a while since I reviewed anything here. I have been reading though, and some of the books I read have been pretty good. I adored Nick Hornby. I enjoyed, but was less impressed by, Stieg Larsson. And The Chinese Lobster. Matisse is a motif in all these stories. In the fi...

My First Camping Experience | Enchanted's Blog
https://introspectivemonologues.wordpress.com/2009/07/22/my-first-camping-experience
Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Falling into the same trap. My First Camping Experience. July 22, 2009 by Enchanted. Later the GPS we were using screwed us even more. Somewhere between his “Keep Rights” and “Keep lefts” we missed an exit and the “Route Recalculation” landed us in a traffic jam. Obviously we were late. Much late than the 2 PM check in time. And the worst part was the site was at a 5-8 min walking distance from the parking lot. Now that doesn’t sound far right? By the time we cam...

Deep Within: "Still I rise.."
http://srinidhir.blogspot.com/2012/10/still-i-rise.html
Random excerpts of the wandering and observant mind. Thursday, October 18, 2012. Still I rise.". So for now, I have let myself be angry. There will come a time when my anger will fade away only leaving traces behind of what I should to take away from this experience. Hopefully I will be driven by that feeling to not treat others badly, to try to be a good person. Till then, I softly repeat the words of a wonderful fighter and feminist. Just like moons and like suns,. With the certainty of tides,. We need...

Hateful text messages, abusive emails and cyber-gossip are giving bullies new. Power over their victims. BT explores. PEOPLE who have never been bullied are now becoming victims of cyberbullying. Tuesday, October 07, 2008. I want to break free". It's as though I swallowed something live. Sometimes, it's like there's an octopus inside of me, struggling with its tentacles to get out. And I have to keep telling myself, it's only a baby whose anthem seems to be "I want to break free". നീരാളിയോ? വരാന് പോണ ചെങ്ങായി കേള്ക്കണ്ട. 10:19 pm, October 07, 2008. Drift through books: August 2010
http://driftthrubooks.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Meandering, whimsical non-reviews of books and ruminations on reading. Thursday, August 5, 2010. I am amazed that I haven’t yet waxed poetic about Georgette Heyer on this blog. It’s not snobbery, because I have no qualms admitting to anyone that she is one of my favourite authors, critically acclaimed or not. Heyer wrote both intense romances and the light-hearted ones. It’s hard to say which I enjoy more: the frothy yet meaningful romps or serious ones with the ever persistent vein of humour.

Road to Seifa is blocked - [MM] Muscat Mutterings
http://www.muscatmutterings.com/2014/05/road-to-seifa-is-blocked.html
Some great local blogs. Road to Seifa is blocked. Road to Seifa is blocked. Monday, May 12, 2014. Local twitter user @alwahaibi 90. Shared this picture earlier this morning (12th May 2014) which shows a pretty big land-slide blocking the road that goes to Seifa from Yiti. No real word on what happened, or when it happened - but it appears that currently the road is still closed. Which means the only way in and out of Seifa at the moment is by boat. If you know more, please share! Monday, May 12, 2014.
