andhannie: catch up. raw. real.
http://andhannie.blogspot.com/2015/02/catch-up-raw-real.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Catch up. raw. real. So, that's why it bugged me that I was so behind. Almost two months behind. And, when talking about the holiday season, that is a lot of photos, and events, and really cute moments of Dare that I didn't post. So, it has nagged at me. Bad. Tonight, I decided because I cannot sleep, I will FINALLY post, and I will not care what was missed. But, I will catch up as best I can. And I will be raw. Because that is what I like best in life: authenticity. My resolv...

Sunday, June 8, 2014. I am just SOOO grateful that he is OK. That he has no brain injury, no long term or residual side effects, and that hopefully he learned a HUGE lesson about wearing a helmet. ALWAYS! Wednesday, June 4, 2014. I love my Zacho. Tuesday, June 3, 2014. In an effort to pull the tree branch away from the house as it was being cut down, a rope lassoed around the branch and attached to the truck was in place. It fell too fast. The rope plan failed. But, the branch removal was a success!

Friday, February 27, 2015. A few of our favorite little man's latest. Ikea was his latest venue for a game of kickball and chase. I'm sure all the professional parents who were there to witness were ever so delighted in my parenting skills. ;). Playing at his friend Parker's 2nd birthday party at the Gymnastics training center in SLC. He had such a great time, and its a really cool place for the littles to run and play and bounce with a soft landing underneath them at all times! Perhaps this method of.

Friday, November 21, 2008. 50 Ways to Blow Your Cover. In preparation for the BYU-Utah game tomorrow, I've been reviewing some footage of the past two years. Doing so has inspired me to re-write the lyrics to "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover," by Paul Simon. If your volume is up, you should be hearing this right now, since it's the Song of the Week. It’s been a year now since you came to Lake City. Saying, “Coach Whit, won’t you please just start me at DB. My man will never score and this I guarantee,. When ...

Tuesday, December 16, 2008. The 2nd Biggest Loser, Transformed. This is Ed Brantley at the beginning of this season of "The Biggest Loser." Ed is fat. This is Ed today. Ed lost weight, but only enough to earn 2nd place. Ed is skinny, but not the Biggest Loser. This is Ed six months from now. Ed wishes he won Biggest Loser. Ed appears maladjusted. This is Ed in a year. Maybe if Ed didn't eat all those coneys and hobbitses, he would have won Biggest Loser. Sunday, December 14, 2008. Back in the Saddle Again.

Tuesday, February 16, 2010. The Bachelor: Season in Review. But that's all in the past. Without further ado. A Few Highlights from the Season So Far:. Jake letting Vienna "Sausage" Girardi (not pictured, blog standards) through the first cut, yet eliminating the likes of Emily. Thanks for giving the rest of us a good name, buddy. Channy's foul pick-up line during the opener seeming so ridiculous for what we thought was a classy, virtuous guy in Jake, followed by Jake himself dismantling this notion week ...

Saturday, October 30, 2010. Neldon had to work so I loaded up the kids (yes, with a 3 week old baby) and drove to my parents in UT. The trip was actually very easy and only took 1 hour longer than usual. Success! My whole family (minus my little brother Tim) was there that weekend so it was tons of fun. Here are some pics. Read My Mind: Thoughts from the ICU
http://matthewweed.blogspot.com/2010/06/thoughts-from-icu.html
Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Thoughts from the ICU. It's about 2 am, I've got a few minutes, and I figured I would post a few thoughts. The ICU feels like the last place in the world you'd want to be if you're used to perfectionism. Unknowns abound, and either those around me aren't considering them, or they're more comfortable with not knowing. What's wrong with the patient in room 204? If I'm caring for this person, don't I have an obligation to try my best to figure it out? That seems insufficient. For...
