Friday, July 10, 2015. Summer has been great! We haven't slowed down, but it has been a good busy. We've had some fun days playing at home. During the first week of summer Sophie did ballet and ended the week with a performance of Peter and the Wolf.. She was the beautiful bird! She said good bye to her Ms. Meghann. We left after the ballet and drove to Weatherford. On Saturday the boys and I went to the Aggie baseball game at TCU.. The next week was VBS. It was a great day! Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

Saturday, January 24, 2015. These feelings of thankfulness have been coming more regularly lately. I don't think it's by chance as we started a monthly thankfulness list this year. Those who have been around me for a while know that I did this by myself a few years ago. I decided I wanted to do it as a family this year. We've been noticing the little things around here that we have to be thankful for - tissues, water, heat. It's amazing what it has done for our family morale. Saturday, January 3, 2015.

Tuesday, June 2, 2015. May was one crazy event after another. We started our month with an amazing Mother's Day weekend. The next Monday I celebrated Mother's Day with Sophie at school. Then there was baseball,. It was a great season for him and he grew a lot! Then there were some plays. John Curtis was a pirate in his school play. Then the kids were in their church play. There were school pool parties,. And a dance recital,. And JC won the math award for his class. Then there was 5th grade graduation.

Sunday, May 10, 2015. We had the most amazing weekend with our families. On Friday night my parents and grandmother got into town just in time to see JC play baseball. He had a great game, probably his best one yet, and was so excited to have his family there. After the game I went to watch Sophie in her first performance of An Evening of Dance. Taylor's parents came in that evening too. Our house was packed and I loved it! We went for pedicures Saturday afternoon. Sweet friends came to watch Sophie dance.
