About Mrs. Brand. Why do I assign homework? I believe homework is important because it helps reinforce what has been learned in class, prepares students for upcoming lessons, teaches responsibility, and helps students develop positive study habits. When will homework be assigned? I will assign homework throughout the day on most days. Rarely will we have an evening of no homework. Students should spend time in word study and independent reading each night. What happens if assignments are not completed?

About Mrs. Brand. Memory work tests will be given every Tuesday morning. The children will b expected to write their verse using a word bank that I will provide. They will need to know the book, chapter and verse as well. Memory work makes up a LARGE portion of their Religion grade in second grade, so it is very important that the kids study!
