Thursday, January 13, 2011. New way of eating. Gluten free and Sugar free. Many of you have asked for recipes and so I will post a few here and there! I'm still learning this new way of life in the kitchen, but here are a few of our family favorites. Monday, November 14, 2011. Today I was able to hear the heartbeat for the third time this pregnancy! Although it came with a scare and an unexpected visit to the Dr. Luckily/thankfuly everything is fine. I have been more on edge this pregnancy since the last one ended in miscarriage at 10 weeks. Friday, September 23, 2011. On Porter's 8th birthday we took some of his friends to play mini golf. They had such a fabulous time and practically had the 18 holes to themselves. The only bad thing was the timing of the party and the BYU game traffic. oh well the boys really enjoyed visited and riding together. Thursday, December 16, 2010. For FHE monday night we tryed out our new popcorn popper. I have fond memories of the one we had when I was a kid. so when I saw them at walmart I new we must have one. It was super exciting and of course way better than microwave popcorn. We are huge popcorn eaters at our house. Maybe I should just leave it sitting out on the counter permanently. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. We decided to do a staycation for the kids winter break. We get tired of traveling since most of our family lives super far away. We drove 15 minutes from our house and stayed in a motel that had a separate kid room with bunk beds and tv (so great to not have to share a tv with the kids). Taylor began to scratch my back and while doing so whispered "I love you, mom". It's moments like that, that make my whole soul smile. While laying down I began reflecting upon what a sweet age all my girls are at. Every morning over and over again in her crib. I can tell that having all boy. Wednesday, May 16, 2012. We were recently able to spend a wonderful weekend together in Utah. Jody's mom came from San Diego, so we were SO GLAD that she could spend the weekend with us. We spent Sunday morning walking around Temple Square, and took lots of pictures. I love these 5 beautiful gifts from God. I couldn't imagine my life without any of them! Can't help but be so very grateful for the knowledge of Eternal Families, and all the blessings that come from these Holy Temples. I feel SO BLESSED!
