The Small Stories of my Life

The Small Stories of my Life. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Lee-Anne Does Time in Kenyan Jail. I definitely overreacted once in the jail. I think the realization that you have no rights or powers is very scary. This is especially true when the person taking rights away is supposed to be the officials designated to enforce them. This does not surprise me but it is important to mention. Ok so the jail was scary for the following reasons. 4 The fact that the Kenyan girls were also scared was not reassuring.

The Small Stories of my Life

http://thesmallstoriesofmylife.blogspot.com/2006/07/there-are-only-2-weeks-and-2-days-left.html

The Small Stories of my Life. Thursday, July 27, 2006. There are only 2 weeks and 2 days left in Morogoro and I beginning to feel sad. I don't really think I want to go home yet. I know I am going to miss it here 'sana', since this happens every time I travel. 1Our group is a quiet bunch. Not very adventurous and when we are it seems contrived. Posted by Lee-Anne at 5:26 AM. Nice idea with this site its better than most of the rubbish I come across. View my complete profile. Post Pre-Week From Hell.

The Small Stories of my Life: Lee-Anne Climbs a Mountain

http://thesmallstoriesofmylife.blogspot.com/2006/07/lee-anne-climbs-mountain.html

The Small Stories of my Life. Monday, July 03, 2006. Lee-Anne Climbs a Mountain. Sunday I climbed a mountain, it was stupidly difficult. But the last hour of the uphill torture was not my finest hour. Josh sarcastically described me as a 'real treat to hike with! So that weekend was not relaxing and caused too much injury. This weekend was better, relaxing, thus boring and not blogging material. I am out of time so will have to reflect and attempt to be more intelligible next time I post something.

Places and ramblings and odd creations. Saturday, February 27, 2010. Sunday, January 24, 2010. Goodbye 2009, hello 2010. Instead of doing my usual "year in reflection" type post, I'm going to use this entry to thank everyone who helped me through 2009. Whether it was listening to me whine on, giving me well wishes and encouragement, or just being good company. thankyou. Happy 2010 everyone. Stay healthy, be safe, and smile more this year. Sunday, January 17, 2010. When in S'pore, do as the S'poreans do.

One Mother’s World. On June 5, 2009. Michael plays with his grandmother at a dance in memory of his mother. At the center of all their loss, Michael Sampson is six years old and smiling running around the banquet room at the Elks Lodge, making dizzy circles on the dance floor, holding the hands of his friends. It’s a gift to the adults in the room, to see the way he smiles. He is so clearly his mother’s son. I just love to look at him, says Saquora Lowe, 35, a family friend. One Mother’s World.
