The moist underbelly of cycling and life. Blistered Grape Tomato Pasta. Archive Food and Drink. December 11, 2014. The moist underbelly of cycling and life. Blistered Grape Tomato Pasta. August 3, 2015. Actually, the plan was great, it was the execution of said plan that was flawed. I’ll get to that in a moment though. After my Cat 5 lunch was made. I felt great rolling down that one mile stretch of pavement, paying no mind to the whirling of 4″ wide knobby tires being worn down. Then I hit the dirt and felt even better! So after about 5 miles or so, I decide to take my first pic. I pulled to the side of the road...

The moist underbelly of cycling and life. Blistered Grape Tomato Pasta. August 4, 2015. Mountain Bike Endurance Racing Markley Anderson. 1st at Funk Bottoms Gravel Grinder. 1st Overall at 24 Hours of DINO →. 1st at 8 Hours of Ithaca. Tire sealant once again saved the day. I didn’t realize it until the next morning after the race when I noticed a small stick impaled in the front tire. I never lost any air pressure. Solid sealant and I highly recommend it for tubeless setups, it can make a huge difference in winning or losing as it did in this race for me. By Team Crank . July 25, 2015.

bikesandbeer: On The Road To Recovery...
http://bikesandbeer.blogspot.com/2013/12/on-road-to-recovery.html
Thursday, December 12, 2013. On The Road To Recovery. Since I tore my ACL and medial meniscus I have been doing everything I can to make my knee strong going into surgery. It started off with some simple exercises and stretches, then progressed to riding. I started on the trainer, then the road bike and eventually I was able to ride my mountain bike. I got in 3 months of solid riding culminating in an awesome road ride led by Fatmarc. I will see you all out there soon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Saturday, November 15, 2014. Lots Of Riding And A New Adventure On The Horizon. I am now just over 4 months post surgery and things are going well. I still have days where it doesn't feel great, but for the most part I'm feeling a bit more normal. I've been riding as much as I can, and I am really enjoying my new mountain bike. I like it so much I've decided to sell my Ti Lynskey. $3000.00 if you know anyone interested. This year I am joining here in France for the Etape, plus the tour package.

Saturday, August 23, 2014. I am still a few weeks from being able to ride. I was told 10-12 weeks after surgery. I have spent some limited time on the trainer, but mostly have been sticking to hiking and walking. But, that has hit a snag as well. I was doing a nice hike with Lauri, when I tweaked my knee. The plan is to section hike the Mason Dixon Trail. We started with A BANG, but it wasn't our best idea. We were a bit ambitious, and did 18 miles on day 1. The Delaware PA, Arc corner. Saturday, January 10, 2009. Finally getting around to posting some more holiday fun and frivolity. The girls always have so much fun at Jeremy's parents' house. There is so much room to run around with their cousins and just be kids. My brother-in-law Steve borrowed a friend's 4-wheeler this year, and very generously he and my sister-in-law, Tricia, gave all the kids endless rides while I sat inside and read a book. Did I mention that I love vacations at the in-laws, too? Thursday, January 8, 2009.
