Lilly is so funny and I'm trying to remeber all the funny things she says so the other day we were in the car driving home and Aliza was talking to Aunt Jennifer on the phone telling her she joined daisy scouts;. Aliza: I love daisy scouts it's so fun but I really really want to be a brownie. So I can eat you! I was laughing so hard it was just so funny to hear that come out of her mouth. Silly girl. Sunday, October 31, 2010. One of the features we love in our new backyard is the fire pit. The kids love to sit out there with a fire and roast marshmallows. This night we decided to tell SCARY stories! He did much better with his story the next time we were out. It was a very nice way to spend our evening home. Thursday, July 15, 2010. We love the 4th of July! We have had so much fun doing this every year and are going to miss our friends tremendously! A friend from church painted the girls faces for the parade. Excited for the show to begin! Our 4th of July cake. Grace and Lilly best buddies. Trying out some sparklers. Lilly couldn't get enough, she probably burned through 4 or 5 sparklers herself - she loved it! Don and I were able to take a vacation in June to New York City without the kids! Not so idle hands.

Sunday, June 13, 2010. Aliza had her first gymnastics "competition" yesterday. She loved it! They had learned routines for all four events and then performed them in front of an audience, they were even given scores for each event. Aliza's best score came on the uneven bars which is her favorite event. On her floor routine during her warm up she hit a perfect handstand! Everyone was so amazed, including her! Friday, May 28, 2010. Today was field day at school, so of course it was HOTTER then you know what! The kids had fun and by the time they got home they were exausted! Lilly and I only lasted about 2 hours ourselves before going home where she crashed as well! But next time lets do it in Oct! I guess the kids didn't mind the dirty water at the bottom! Sunday, April 18, 2010. Oh how much we LOVE this girl. Lilly has been such a happy girl the past few weeks and it has been nice to enjoy! She (like Ben and Aliza as well) is in love with the Phantom of the Opera movie. We have been listening to the music in the car so Ben wanted to see the movie. He and Aliza watched it and liked it and now Lilly asks to watch it everyday, and she will sit through the entire movie! It is amazing how ugly some eggs can get after being put into 4 or 5 different colors!

Saturday, March 5, 2011. I can't believe it has been so longed since I have updated my blog! I think it gets to the point where it just kind of gets overwhelming! Sunday, October 31, 2010. We had a busy couple of weekends leading up to Halloween. It started with our ward trunk or treat. I spent an hour straightening Aliza's hair to be sleeping beauty and spent 30 mins curling Lilly's hair! Ben decided to go as the karate kid that night.
