One of the highlights of our trip was our visit to Dennis Severs House in Spitalfields, East London. As no photos are allowed I can only suggest you check out Messy Nessy Chic’. S blog about it as she was invited to take photos, but in the daylight, which would be a different experience again than ours which was after dark and fully candle lit.

The Wombats sang, “East London’s not a bomb site, it is a treasure chest” and right they were. We spent a recent Sunday exploring Spitalfields and Shoreditch, including Brick Lane.
