Nothing: Quote Of The Week
http://nothingbyno-one.blogspot.com/2012/02/quote-of-week.html
Friday, February 3, 2012. Quote Of The Week. Socializing is as exhausting as giving blood. People assume we loners are misanthropes, just sitting thinking, ‘Oh, people are such a bunch of assholes,’ but it’s really not like that. We just have a smaller tolerance for what it takes to be with others. It means having to perform. I get so tired of communicating.". Quote of the week. Some people tend rabbit on with useless nonsense just to hear the sound of their own voice, very annoying indeed :-). I really...

Nothing: Hola, Niñas y Niños
http://nothingbyno-one.blogspot.com/2012/01/hola-ninas-y-ninos.html
Sunday, January 29, 2012. Hola, Niñas y Niños. I've decided to start learning Spanish. I've always loved the sound of Spanish, and as much as French is supposedly considered the language of love, Spanish is the one that still sounds sexy, even when you're being yelled and/or sworn at. My sister who has taken a Spanish course, because her sister-in-law is from Chile, has said she thinks I could teach myself from a book, and that she'd help me with pronunciation if needed. Nothing: Architectural Lever Sets
http://nothingbyno-one.blogspot.com/2012/02/architectural-lever-sets.html
Wednesday, February 8, 2012. When did we stop calling them door handles? I read your title and thought, what the heck is she on about? I still call them door handles. February 8, 2012 at 7:33 PM. I often used to describe my pencil as a Hand held portable word processing device if somebody was using too much techno-corporate jargon in meetings. Perhaps I should have pointed to the exit and said, Oi you. Were sick of your buzzwords. Take a hike and use that architectural lever set over there! Day 4 - in wh...

Nothing: Shirtless Adventures In Mystery Land
http://nothingbyno-one.blogspot.com/2011/03/shirtless-adventures-in-mystery-land.html
Friday, March 11, 2011. Shirtless Adventures In Mystery Land. In the absence of anything else to post today, I bring you Shirtless Adventures In Mystery Land, Part 1. The man walked slowly, and shirtlessly, down the dark street, shivering in the cold. He rubbed his well muscled arms to warm them, and wished he was wearing more than a pair of track pants slung low on his hips. That was it. There was a light glowing under the closet door. Which was really odd because the room didn't have a closet. Joshua c...

Nothing: March 2012
http://nothingbyno-one.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 18, 2012. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw Concert. On Friday I went to the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill 2012 Australian Tour concert. The concert was awesome. The opening act was a band from Texas who I had never heard of, The Eli Young Band. They were really good. As for the main event, Faith and Tim are excellent showpeople, knowing just how to play to the crowd. After leaving the stage they returned for one encore song. The song they sang, I Need You, is actually their one duet I don't care f...

Nothing: Flying Squid
http://nothingbyno-one.blogspot.com/2012/02/flying-squid.html
Thursday, February 23, 2012. I know I haven't finished the other story yet, but yesterday I found out squid can fly. They propel themselves out of the water, shape their tentacles into fins, and go as far as the wind/airlift will take them. Longest recorded distance, 264 metres. Which had me thinking, as there have already been Syfy Original movies like MegaSnake, Piranha and Sharktopus, why hasn't there been Attack of the Giant Flying Squid? Attack of the Giant Flying Squid. The boys watched this displa...

Nothing: Shirtless Adventures In Mystery Land, Part 6
http://nothingbyno-one.blogspot.com/2012/02/shirtless-adventures-in-mystery-land.html
Friday, February 17, 2012. Shirtless Adventures In Mystery Land, Part 6. Note: This story is running out of steam in my brain, so there will probably only be one more part after this one to wrap it all up. Joshua ran shirtlessly down the road, messenger bag bouncing against his left hip. Trying to outrun a swarm of wasp type things. Spluttering to the surface, scanning for wasps, Joshua noticed the area he'd run into was all burnt grass and scorched, blackened trees. And when had it happened? Snapping in...

Nothing: Shirtless Adventures In Mystery Land: Part 5
http://nothingbyno-one.blogspot.com/2012/01/shirtless-adventures-in-mystery-land.html
Monday, January 16, 2012. Shirtless Adventures In Mystery Land: Part 5. Because River reminded me I hadn't worked on this in a while. The mermaid's tail turned into a pair of legs. Really nice legs, Joshua noticed, as she stood, stretching nakedly, before walking over to an alcove near the back of the cave. She came back to the pond carrying a large, shiny sword. Joshua felt slightly panicy seeing it. Was she going to kill him? What did mermaids eat anyway? Little chocolate cake things have my key? He wa...

Nothing: Shirtless Adventures In Mystery Land, Part 3
http://nothingbyno-one.blogspot.com/2011/05/shirtless-adventures-in-mystery-land.html
Sunday, May 8, 2011. Shirtless Adventures In Mystery Land, Part 3. Joshua sat in lush green field, shirtlessly contemplating the quest he was about to start. The faeries hadn't given him a lot of details before they left him on his own. Joshua shirtlessly dug a coin out of his pocket and flipped it. Heads. Turning to his right he started off down the road. I am LOVING this shirtless story! The roll of toilet paper had me laughing out loud. Cant wait for part 4. May 8, 2011 at 1:13 PM. Back to the Sexist.

Ninja-ing my way through life: A completely endearing train ride
http://michryn.blogspot.com/2011/11/completely-endearing-train-ride.html
Friday, November 18, 2011. A completely endearing train ride. It was Sunday. I was working that day, instead of Saturday. And boy, was I glad that I worked on Sunday instead, and got on that train, and became completely entranced by this little wonder. Or "We live here, let's get off! His granddad would remind him that they're not supposed to get off. Throughout the train ride, he kept asking his granddad questions. He would ask, "why? Or "how" or "really? Posted by Michelle Wong. Yes, its really great t...
