Sunday, 29 March 2009. Last night we ran the midnight 5k! First, lets reminisce about last year. Oh I miss these girls very much. One's in Russia, one's in Washington, one's in Hawaii, and Haley was there (not pictured) and now she's living in Texas and is going to have a baby in a month! But this year was great too. See. They drove beside us the whole way blasting music. If you lead a good life, say your prayers, and go to church, when you die, you will go to Idaho." Thanks mom. Amanda and Jared Grimmer.

Saturday, March 17, 2012. Making stuff in March 2012. Marty and I both ended up with a bad case of the flu. Marty's actually turned to pneumonia. We spent a lot of time resting. The only good part about that was I was able to spend some time working on jewelry. Pictures when I get it set up to show you what I end up with. Here are a few pictures of some of the items. Monday, February 21, 2011. We took the rest of the forms off. And started grinding the surface to reveal some of the aggregates and get rid of the sharp edges. What a huge cloud of dust. I think we will be cleaning up concrete dust for months. Then we put a high gloss polyurethane down. Dont you love this high gloss plastic look? Well this isn't the final finish! We let it cure and then started sanding. We sanded off the high gloss finish. Then treated the whole thing with linseed oil. It was SO GOOD!

Saturday, March 10, 2012. New Years Eve 2012. Lacey threw a New Years Eve party. She really put a lot of money into it. She bought black lights. Glow sticks. Hats and party favors. Oh and Food! She even had a friend DeeJay DJ for her. There were kids coming and going all night but when Midnight arrived there were over 50 kids drinking sparkling grape juice and toasting the New Year!
