Rie Reads: May 2012
http://riereads.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Happy Birthday Nerdbomber #1! You are turning 16 today! I remember when I first got to know you at the age of 7. Even then you were precocious (not to mention mischievous at times) and always so, so talented, beautiful, and such a fun girl to be around. While there are people who will give you much more dating advice, I offer you just a little of my own. Don't lead them on. (We already know what a heartbreaker you will be without adding this to the mix! You deserve the best, girl!

Rie Reads: December 2011
http://riereads.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 26, 2011. Somehow, though, a little two month old has the capability of making even the most intelligent people seem completely idiotic. Like when I'm holding my little niece, Ava, trying to get her to smile, and all that seems to work is "A-a-a-a-bu-bu-bu-bu. A-a-a-a-a-bu! I even stoop to crossing my eyes and blowing raspberries on her chubby cheeks. Yup, it's true. cuteness can make you dumber. But it's totally worth it to see a face like this, don't you think? Rie Reads: Someday...
http://riereads.blogspot.com/2012/06/someday.html
Saturday, June 9, 2012. I'm going to get on my soapbox for a moment. There are a few words in the English language that, while seemingly harmless on their own, I believe we make toxic with the way in which we use them. The word potential. Even though I'm in Estonia, there's plenty of graffiti written in English. One bit of graffiti caught my eye Friday night as I walked back to the dorms:. It got me thinking about that word. We've grown up with this mythical idea of the word Someday. So here's my newest ...

The Howes Family: Grafton Street
http://brickhowes.blogspot.com/2011/06/grafton-street.html
Est October 28 2006. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Grafton Street is a very popular place in Dublin. It is full of expensive shops and eateries. There are also many street performers. This is the place to watch your stuff because it is your best chance to have it stolen. My favorite thing on the street are the flower vendors. The flowers are amazing! The Howes Family: The Park
http://brickhowes.blogspot.com/2011/06/park.html
Est October 28 2006. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. We went back to our favorite park last night after dinner. I really wish that we had a place like this in St. Cloud. It is a big circle with walking trails covered with big trees. The playground is gated and there are rugby fields, soccer fields and tennis courts in the middle. Yesterday was the warmest day we have had so far which made the park even better. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Reflections: Thinking, Fast and Slow. Norm and Cassi Beatty.

The Howes Family: Malahide Castle Playground
http://brickhowes.blogspot.com/2011/06/malahide-castle-playground.html
Est October 28 2006. Sunday, June 12, 2011. There was a huge playground at the Malahide castle. The playground equipment in Ireland is not safe at all but really fun. Hinton's favorite was the zip line and it went really fast! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Reflections: Thinking, Fast and Slow. Norm and Cassi Beatty. Dan, Tiffani and Benton Bates. Rie Reads: August 2012
http://riereads.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 12, 2012. My family isn't exactly known for their skills in agriculture. I probably come closest, having always had an interest in having a garden (though I haven't made much of an attempt in over a decade. someday when I have a house I need someone to teach me! And soon there was a melon. And just today we found two more:. Mom acts all exasperated about this rogue plant, but the rest of us are extremely entertained. Plus, we picked the first one and it tasted delish! Rad Blogs I Read.

Rie Reads: March 2012
http://riereads.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 7, 2012. An episode not to miss! In the fall semester, I took a fine art photography class. One assignment given was to mimic a fine art photographer. We were given a list. I call it the "List of Eminent Doom." I looked through, and only one photographer seemed like one I'd be interested in trying their style: Cindy Sherman. We have a winner! It was okay, though. Expecting to win an argument against Travis is like expecting that they might decide to start up the show Pushing Daisies.
