Monday, August 24, 2009. First day of school! Another school year has begun! I can't believe how quickly the summer flew by! Brendan started 4th grade and has Mrs. Pectol/Mrs. McQeen for teachers. They team teach, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. According to him, his new school is AWESOME! Christian started 2nd grade and has Ms. Kirsten for a teacher. I haven't met her yet, but hope to tomorrow. He says he likes Canyon Rim better than Millcreek, but he still HATES SCHOOL! Fun in the sun! Colton...

Saturday, February 21, 2009. Brendan turned 9 years old on February 16th! I can't believe I have one that old! He has been pretty excited for his birthday. First of all, he didn't have to go to school - it was President's Day! How lucky was that? And, now he has advanced to the Bear's in scouts. He is really excited to move on. For his birthday, we decided to take the kids to McDonald's for lunch, since we had an entirely free day. What kid is going to turn that down? Whatever works. . . Tight Wad In Utah.

Sunday, January 25, 2009. Last night was Brendan's first pinewood derby race. I have been so excited about it and proud of the car he made (all by himself), while Buddy has been dreading it. Well, last night I finally understood why. To those of you who enjoy this event, I mean no offense. Buddy has explained to me who the pinewood derby is really for - the DAD'S! Once this was put on Brendan's car, his next race he took first place! It was wonderful to see the smile that lit up his face after that!

Thursday, April 16, 2009. Another one bites the dust. I'm starting to think that Colton just wants me to post pictures of his latest hurt on this blog - he is my wildest child and seems to be continually getting hurt. Is this a preview of things to come in the future with him? This morning I took a picture of it, as you can see. It's still really black and blue and there's still a little swelling. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. And that's two. . . So, today was Colton's day - he learned to ride the two-wheel bike this afternoon. He was so excited, of course. I knew he could do it - he has always been my fastest child at things. It's hard to believe that he was Logan's age (2) and riding a scooter! Logan isn't even close to that right now. Saturday, June 27, 2009. That was a savings of $66.08! Add that to my trip yesterday (I had to split it up into 2 trips, because they didn't have some of the items I needed yesterday), in which I bought: 1 pkg angel hair pasta, Twix candy bar, Zone nutrition bar, pkg pork chops, .92 lbs tomatoes, and 3 apples, for a grand total of - again, drumroll please. . . $0.28! Sunday, June 20, 2010. As my sister is always quick to point out, I haven't blogged on here for quite awhile! I've actually been busy blogging on another site with a friend of mine, doing coupons and recipes, http:/ www.tightwadinutah.com/. If anyone actually reads this blog, check it out, it's awesome! So, over the weekend, I joined the really CRAZY club. I ran the Wasatch Back/Ragnar Relay, 188 miles from Logan to Park City. And, it was AWESOME! And, can I just say, he is AWESOME! Wow, you posted again!
