Excellent use of purple, arches, and darkgray accents. Nifty cockpit too! Inspired by a botframe. By Brickshelf user Nobnob. Lenny Hoffman has made an action-figure scale Link from the Zelda series. A polite and unassuming lego blog. Tuesday, September 27, 2005. Take a look at this WWII German Watertower, by brickshelf user Nyu. Note the rounded shape created using tiles, plates, and treads. I believe it's a brand-new technique! Posted by Kevoh at 4:46 PM. Saturday, September 24, 2005. Golden Shpleem: December 2005
http://goldenshpleem.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
A polite and unassuming lego blog. Tuesday, December 27, 2005. Better Than Two Ninjas. More and more steampunk is coming out of the woodwork lately. I think I speak for everyone when I say that this is the best Christmas ever. The builder, spotfrog. Is a theme-dabbler after my own heart. He started off with Bionicle and Star Wars MOCs, tried Castle and Space, and has just now (okay, last week) had a go at the sublimeness that is steampunk. Not to oversell. I sure hope there's no recoil on that thing!

Golden Shpleem: November 2005
http://goldenshpleem.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
A polite and unassuming lego blog. Monday, November 28, 2005. I will admit: It's been a full ten days since our favorite monosyllabic builder, Ry, finished his first foray into floating rock-building. Kevoh, in the interests of integrity, was unable to comment on this fine creation. So the only feeble defense I can offer you, gentle readers, is that I was "on vacation". Kevoh's excuse on my behalf was well-intentioned, but false: I never liked Interpol. As for the rock! Floating Rocks have a long and sto...

Golden Shpleem: January 2006
http://goldenshpleem.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
A polite and unassuming lego blog. Sunday, January 29, 2006. What Happened To Alpha Thru Delta? Amethyst, winner of the sometimes-controversial. Presents a ship I have been eagerly awaiting since I first saw the WIP. He makes a black and white color scheme work by solid color grouping, and with great splashes of trans blue. I cannot recall any other creation with such brilliant black. Posted by Kevoh at 3:15 AM. Thursday, January 26, 2006. They'll make you chicken out. Posted by Kevoh at 11:58 PM. Tuesda...

Golden Shpleem: August 2005
http://goldenshpleem.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
A polite and unassuming lego blog. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Moko has made 2 neat vignettes that capture motion very nicely. Never before have I seen smashed earth and ethereal fumes created so effectively in the brick. This one also has some neat sculpturing in the underground part. It's a lot cooler than the rock on the other one. Posted by Kevoh at 3:16 PM. Monday, August 29, 2005. I mean, WTF? Classic Castler Teup,. Like a big huge jerk,. I'm moving to Amsterdam.
