We stayed at Peebles Hydro. The MTB rate is a better rate than most B&B's in the area and you get use of the pool and leisure facilities. Church at the usual time and then head off to Makoura College to do a bit of a clean up of the grounds for an hour or two. Then we will have a BBQ lunch together afterwards.
