Saturday, March 27, 2010. Jack and Audrey don't have many playdates. It just doesn't work to invite kids and a parent over to play with our babysitter. However, a friend asked if we could watch her son who is just a few days older than Jack. So today is our second play date at our house for Jack and he is loving it! Some of the things I've heard that makes my heart smile:. Do you want to see my room? Come on.I'll show you! Let me show you how to do a flip.it's really fun! Want to play legos?

Friday, September 02, 2011. End of a Life. and the start of New! The girls came running inside the house on their birthday excited to have found a new pet. I was excited to see that it was a monarch caterpillar on a milk weed leaf! Oh the science teacher in me was bursting with glee! Quickly I found a large clear vase that was to be Stripey's home for the next couple weeks. It was clear and you could see the beautiful orange and black wings of the monarch butterfly! It was all compact, but very distinct!

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Our First Field Trip! Noah's Ark 4 yr. old preschool went on their first field trip to the Meijer Gardens. They rode the tram around the grounds and learned about trees. Notice in some photos Sophie has the "lean" going on like her Aunt Chelle :). My carpool gang. Our friend Anneka is on the far left. Sophie with Mrs. K. The girls each get a "helicopter" to throw in the air and plant a new maple tree. I love this photo :). Sophie with the Chelle Lean again :). Me - Oh yeah?

Tuesday, October 26, 2010. The girls were so excited to carve their princess pumpkin they could hardly contain themselves during supper! They thought it was all fantastically exciting. That's what I love about kids - they love the excitement and anticipation even more than the actual event. That's why I try to get them all geeked and full of excitement leading up to events. it's half the fun! I learned it from my Dad :). The girls response to all this gooey stuff. The prettiest princess pumpkin ever!

Friday, August 05, 2011. My favorite view on a quiet warm summer day :). Ben and Gwen get flocked by scavengers looking for free popcorn! After playing Jenga with the girls one morning, Evie and Olivia decided to make a cross with the pieces. I love catching their jumps on camera. Let's jump in holding hands! Evie goes tubing - her favorite, second to skiing :). Do you think Olivia like tubing? My crazy rough-riders :). Evie and Lilly ski doubles and make some contact. It was a great week!
