Where are we now? Monday, April 27, 2015. Photos: Veltjens duo explores Southern France. We took advantage of our two week break between semesters and rented a car and explored some of our area. Here's a quick look at the route we took: We visited lots of places! There is so much variety in this area, from small villages with produce markets to big cities with Roman ruins and the Mediterranean coast. We visited Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorge, Nimes, Carcasonne, Cassis, and several other smaller towns.
