HOT MESS. MOMMA. That pretty much sums it up. Sunday, April 17, 2011. Nope Not pregnant. That door is closed friends. And I couldn't be happier. :) So much has happened by here are the highlights: I have decided to start working full-time again, and I have the most awesome job as the social worker for a cancer center here in town. A friend told me about the job posting. I interview and a month later, I got the job! 365 inches and 34 pounds, he is thankfully healthy. NO more ear problems praise God! We ar...

HOT MESS. MOMMA. That pretty much sums it up. Thursday, September 23, 2010. I started a women's Bible study at my church today. We are reading through Beth Moore's. I especially feel grateful for my children. There are so many people out there right now that are heartbroken from miscarriages or failed attempts to get pregnant. It doesn't seem fair that I got to have 4 with no problems! It seems like virtually everyone I know if having a bebe, and it is awesome! I can't wait to meet your little ones!

We don't make it till you order it! Monday, April 26, 2010. Date Night with 'Date Night'. The spousal unit and I had the rare chance to sneak away Friday night to take in a picture show. I also shamefully admit we used our precious date time to.go to the grocery store. There, I said it. It was actually a really nice time to turn something that is usually a tedious chore into a fun little event. Wandering the aisles of the Longview. Cracking jokes and embarrassing. Ourselves was pretty much a great time.

http://dodgecaravandalism.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

We don't make it till you order it! Friday, March 19, 2010. St Benedict of Nursia. The Rector at our church is leading a Lenten study called Soup, Salad, and Spirituality. The idea is that participants partake of Soup, Salad, and of course Spirituality. We are doing a study of. The Rule of St. Benedict. At first, you might say, why is there a 'rule' of St. Benedict and why do I need to follow it? I mean, look at his picture. If you disagree, take a gander at these pictures and come to your own conclusions.

We don't make it till you order it! Friday, August 27, 2010. One of my favorite blogs I read on a regular basis is one by Steve McVey. He is a bible teacher and author with a fantastic perspective about what living a grace-filled life can look like. His most recent post has a really neat illustration about the many "flavors" of followers we can find in the church. Enjoy! We don't make it till you order it! Friday, May 6, 2011. Easter has come and gone and it seems like years since my last blog post. I am happy to report that all is well in the Collins household. Christy was hired by the cancer center in town and it is an excellent job for her with great hours and pay. She has been at it for three weeks now and she finds it rewarding and challenging. We don't make it till you order it! Wednesday, January 5, 2011. I just wanted to get back into posting by wishing everybody a Happy New Year. I know what you are thinking, and no I did not make a new year's resolution to be a better blogger. I just thought it was time to get back into the swing of things with a couple of observations. First observation is that children are routine-oriented. The parents who read this are like, "Yeah! Posted by Nathan Collins. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The View from Morocco

The View from Morocco. Although Moroccans have an official currency - the dirham - they also have an informal currency - the riyal and so, buying vegetables or fruit in a Moroccan souk can sometimes be extremely confusing, even for people who have spent a lot of time in the country and understand the local language. You see a sign saying (for example) pomegranates are 15 dirhams a kilo. You ask for a kilo and the store holder says that will be 300! If the riyal were American. When riyals are not used:.
