We have SO many memories of the San Diego Zoo and the SD Zoo’s Safari Park from the six years we lived in Escondido. And this summer we were able to add to those memories with many more trips! Friday, May 13, 2011. A year later: still learning. This path has felt so unknown in many ways over the past few months, from feeling led to change our decision on which seminary Ryan will go to, to deciding to move, which led to making the decision to being a stay at home mom. The list goes on. Meanwhile, life continues and today was a day highlighted by a shared piece of carrot cake and coffee in a french press with my dear friend Allison. Living in the small moments and taking it a day at a time.

From Our Life to Yours. Sunday, April 6, 2014. Christmas 2013- part VI. The boys' annual Christmas picture in front of the tree with their ornaments. Our final Christmas celebration actually happened in 2014 with the Leonard family. Jill and Mark and the girls came up for a long weekend, and we had a blast catching up with each other and opening presents. I understand that there are too many C-sections in this world today (1 in 3 women); however, I am sick of reading articles that make me feel bad about myself for having a C-section and not choosing a VBAC for my second (or third) child. Maybe I'm just a bit defensive about it (I NEVER planned on having a C-section), but I would do it again.
