I have no clue what travel opportunities other Peace Corps Volunteers worldwide have perhaps easy access to some countries a bit more off the beaten path, but from Ukraine, Europe is at your doorstep. Being in Ukraine has definitely provided for plenty of opportunities to visit friends and great places.
