Muzaffar Ali may be known better for Umrao Jaan, his composition skills are nothing short of extraordinary if one goes by this album (and another named Husn-e-Jaana). This Abida Parveen album of Sufiyana Gazals is a treat to listen. Abida, known for her sufiyaanaa qalaams, has rendered some choicest Gazals by old masters very powerfully. The recording and arrangements are also of high quality. हज र = caution, fear.
