February 25, 2010. I finally got to use the polo mallet we made in the summer! Paul is presenting me with a crazy supper! There are mini eggs on the plate! A stitch in time. Do you have certain dangerous or intense situations that you enact in your head and try to imagine what you would actually do if the situation entered the realm of reality? Luckily for me, it was at 4:30 am and there were no cars around me! Lesson learned: keep your chain in good shape, use the "chain checker" tool once in a while.

January 20, 2011. A few photos and strange updates. Yesterday, this bird was swooping around in circles around the house:. At first we thought it was the owl we often hear hooting at night, but turns out it's a northern harrier. (sweet jpg eh? I'm on the second evening of (water only) fasting, and the two days before i ate nothing but apples. i really didn't even know if i would make it through a day of apples only, but so far so good. if nothing else, the experience has given me a new appreciation of food and the whole ordeal of eating. but combined with saunas every second day i'm sure it has been pretty detoxifying.
