They don’t produce as many eggs as they used to and the chances of falling pregnant are low. After many rounds of failed IVF and truck-loads of drugs and way too much flogging of my tired old ovaries we eventually did it. To put you in the picture, here is a timeline of our fertility treatment to date,. 8211; first round of tests with FS told I would never conceive using my own eggs. Superhero given the green light despite his 11 year old vasectomy. Superhero and I leave clinic#1 devastated, never to return. May 2010 – February 2011. 8211; Clinic#2 gives the same diagnosis as clinic#1, but suggests we go a round of IVF. 8211; IVF#1 cancelled, poor response.
