Inspired by my friend Alia, who is also doing an exciting leave of absence abroad, I’ve decided that a simple list of likes and dislikes provides an interesting perspective into daily life, so here goes. What I like about Rwanda:. That the stares that made me so uncomfortable when I first got here can become friendly with a simple smile. Learning that I actually like cooking and am not bad at it.
