The kids wanted to pull out their wading pool. When I was distracted with the chickens, Kid #1 turned on the hose for the first time this season. Tiny and tart, with the taste of sunrise. The girls and I went for a walk around the cornfield, since it was neither raining nor unbearably hot. Swarms of dragonflies darted around our ankles and danced us along the path. We stopped to pick flowers and examine animal tracks. It’s a deer! Was this a crane? No, a turkey!

Eine Leihgabe von Arne, der ist zurueck nach Westerland, kommt hoffentlich Ende Januar wieder und derweil darf ich sein Board hueten. Sein Wegener hat vorher Parish gehoert, dann Arne und nun werde ich mich mit grossem Respekt abwerfen lassen. Ich freue mich so! Und in 7 Tagen ist Winteranfang. God has made everything beautiful in its time. Friday, October 1, 2010. In mid-August we went camping out on the Olympic Peninsula. Evie loved wading in the water. At our campsite, Jackson spent most of his time in the pack-n-play. Over Labor Day weekend I preached out on Whidbey Island and we stayed overnight with an incredibly hospitable family. Evie and her best friend Micah watched Curious George 2 together. Jackson, after a nice bath. Evs, after a nice bath. A Boy Falling From the Sky.
