Dealing with Design School. The diary of an aspiring product designer. The final project was incredibly demanding, so I haven’t had the chance to write about it over here. But our team tumble log. Should be a really entertaining read! Megan, Kim, or I would update the tumble log every time something eventful (or funny) happened while the bar was being built. It has all our mess ups and triumphs, but mostly we like to show pictures of us messing around. :P. What I loved about this project:. It can be hidd...

Dealing with Design School. The diary of an aspiring product designer. This just might work. Kim and Megan went to Prof’s shop today off campus to work on our full-scale model. They’ve been troupers! I’m really excited! I think that this project is going to work nicely in the real world, even though it’s completely crazy. Laquo; When your computer crashes…. Date : April 20, 2009. Adam Graiser’s Design blog. Stressing the small stuff since 1988. Paint under fingernails; in cuts. Happy thanksgiving/holidays/new year/ birthday. December 4, 2008. End of the semester. more random abstract thoughts | Adam Graiser's Design blog

Adam Graiser’s Design blog. Stressing the small stuff since 1988. Paint under fingernails; in cuts. More random abstract thoughts. November 17, 2008. This whole being a designer thing has really influenced my head. I’m thinkin in much larger abstract thoughts these days. If all life just kinda died right now, and millions of years from now aliens did some paleontology, they’d still find a ton of plastic, as it never really degrades. Would they think that our culture worshiped plastic? Would they be right?

ID3012C GTID Junior Studio. January 8, 2009. Save dropping a pile of cash on the table, there are few things that can captivate an audience in any meeting like an accurate, readable, meaningful quick sketch. The stress alone can make your lines wiggly and your perspective way out of whack. But when you become comfortable with this you can really flex your design muscle and solve problems on the spot. This ‘hand waving’ stuff jsut isnt doing it for me. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

ID3012C GTID Junior Studio. AM INSANITY EFFORT COMPASSION = NYC and more. January 8, 2009. It sounds like you guys are up for the challenge, and I am willing to do what it takes to make sure we make this happen. This is going to be a very real-world look into not only what it takes to survive in the design / make world, but also what it means to ‘bring something into the world’. Best case scenario = we fail miserably! Lets figure this out together. How can we create without guilt? Enter your comment here.
