Saturday, August 29, 2009. The basil is ending.so sad. Hard to believe that this is the last of the basil.enough for one small. Batch of pesto. Nothing is better than the smell of fresh basil.even chocolate can't beat it! A tad bit more to add to the freezer. I WANT it NOW. But I know in the middle of winter it will be a taste of summer. Instead I chopped and made some crab and corn chowder for supper. The house smelled great! Now to dream and plan for next summer's REAL garden! Friday, August 28, 2009.

Monday, November 23, 2009. As promised, I am sharing the recipe for the pineapple cake Sherri shared with me. Of course, not being a photographer by nature, I never did take a picture of the finished cake. It did look lovely and I did remember to get a picture of one of the last pieces of the cake.
