Harston Family: April 2011
http://harstons.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 11, 2011. It was a rainy Thursday afternoon in early April, 2011 when disaster struck. Steve was hit with the wilderness blues. The only way to overcome this terrible disaster is to survive a night in the woods like Bear Grylls. Fortunately, Steve was prepared for a wilderness survival situation by watching Man vs. Wild religiously. Steve called up his friend Scott, and together they headed out into the woods. 1 Always have a saw if you want to make a shelter. 6 I was really hoping to have ...

Stuck in the Marsh: October 2012
http://avalonandrichardmarsh.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Stuck in the Marsh. Sunday, October 28, 2012. This too shall pass. In my bedroom, I have this canvas with these words on them: This too Shall Pass. I know a lot of people use this in a way to say that trials will be overcome but also, less often, it can be used to mean that moments or precious experiences will not last forever. I have used it both ways for sure. That is why at the bottom of the canvas I made sure I had the words: be present. I thought about it as we struggled to have children. I looked a...

The Hirams: April 2009
http://thehirams.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Whatever Josh and Shauna have time to write about. :). Friday, April 17, 2009. Well, I can't believe I made it. Three weeks ago, I finished my online American Heritage class (definitely not. Recommended) which brought me down to 18 credits (definitely definitely not. What a change in pace the last few days have been! I don't know how I'm going to take summer with no classes and. I'm just 'taking it in'. While there, I met with numerous people, four teams total. Everything from the F-16's mapping soft...

The Ubiquitous Adventures of Dale and Judy: Lily at 9 months
http://06rex.blogspot.com/2015/04/lily-at-9-months.html
Lily at 9 months. Lily, you have officially been out of my belly longer than you were in it! You are growing and learning at such a rapid pace and it's getting harder to keep up with you. On March 17th, we went to the park and you tried out the swings for the first time.you loved it! You are crawling everywhere and love getting into anything within reach. This past month, you started eating a lot! On April 5th, you stood up without holding anything for a few seconds, but you haven't tried again since....

Caleb and Dana Anderson: Life
http://danamariah.blogspot.com/2012/04/life.html
Caleb and Dana Anderson. Saturday, April 21, 2012. Life is hard. Really hard. You know when you go through something really hard and you think, well it can only go up from here? But then just when you think everything couldn't be more perfect, life comes and smacks you in the face and reminds you how crappy life can really be. Kind of depressing right? Caleb and Dana Anderson. Caitlin and Adrian Taylor. April 21, 2012 at 9:34 PM. April 22, 2012 at 7:04 AM. Its not silly or selfish! April 27, 2012 at 10:0...

The Ubiquitous Adventures of Dale and Judy: Visitors
http://06rex.blogspot.com/2015/07/visitors.html
My dad and sister Hannah came to visit at the end of June. The boys feed off of other people's energy, so they were bouncing off the walls the whole time. Hannah had just finished a semester at college and wanted nothing more to sleep, but the boys weren't very accommodating :). While they were here, we went to the OKC zoo for their $1 admission day, but it was so hot and humid that we didn't last long. Kimball and rhino bums. After that we drove down to Norman and went to the Sam Noble Museum of Science.
