To be honest I'm not a fan of professional football, I prefer to watch college football but when the super bowl rolls around I'm all about it for two reasons - the commercials and the snacks! This year we are attending a superbowl party with some friends and have been asked to bring a dish. My usual football food - queso, spinach artichoke dip, jalapenos wrapped in bacon have already been assigned to others who are coming. Any suggestions on what to bring? 1 cup sour cream.

Thursday, October 29, 2009. I LOVE the Market Square! In downtown San Antonio is a section called Market Square. With several shops, restaurants, and street vendors. We love going to the square on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. It's such a festive place! Wednesday, April 7, 2010. My Very Favorite Kid In The World. My sweet 2 1/2 year old nephew, Rett, is growing up so fast. I love this age, he's in that stage where he wants to copy everything you do, talk to you on the phone, he still loves to snuggle and I say "I you" (his way of saying I love you). He loves coming to stay at our house, partly because he has his own room and partly because he gets to stay up late and eat whatever he wants. I can't wait for his next visit! Wednesday, March 16, 2011. It's been almost a year since my last blog post! I gave up on blogging once I found out I was pregnant. I just thought I was too busy with a new job, pregnancy and preparation for baby. Something had to go - so that was blogging. Boy, I sure didn't know a thing about being busy! Sunday, January 24, 2010. A few weeks ago we had some really cold weather in San Antonio. Unusually cold for this far South. When I was preparing my grocery list with those chilly temperatures (which I do by category - produce, frozen, canned good, etc.) I found that I was wanting to make things like chicken and dumplings, chili and of course lasagna! This is definitely comfort food in our house! I put cream cheese, sour cream and green onions in my mixer with a little milk to help it mix really well.
