{making.a.menz}: ...is this thing on?
http://makingamenz.blogspot.com/2014/02/is-this-thing-on.html
Personal sentiments of a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and finally.a mommy! Is this thing on? You might be adjusting your eyes, considering it's been about 8 months since my last post. Turns out that working full time and trying to give the rest of your attention to your toddler and husband is tricky. plus, if i pulled out the computer at all in the evening it was to write an IEP, not a blog post. So, before i get my microsoft word back on to make sub plans until the cows come home, i will leave y...

No but really, things are way too expensive out there. I think our kitchen makeover. And went to work. 1 First we went to IKEA. 4 Then we got to ...

Wooden Parlor: October 2011
http://woodenparlor.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Halloween decor in less than 90 minutes! Remember those vases I posted about yesterday? Last week I saw this tutorial on Make it and Love it. Originally from Martha Stewart. How cute are those pumpkin jars? Well I decided to replicate them but using these bargain vases instead. And the best part? I did this on my lunch break in less than 90 minutes. I didn't have any newspaper around so I used trash bags to catch any spills (and there will be spills if you're anything like me).

Wooden Parlor: November 2011
http://woodenparlor.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 1, 2011. The last three years I've gone "all out" when making my costume. This year I was a mummy. If you want to be a mummy next year here's what you'll need to do. Cheesecloth was my choice of wrapping. Gauze is a little expensive and toilet paper is a little too cheap. I ended up using four packs of cheesecloth (totaling around $20). I found an old long sleeve white shirt and an old pair of long johns (clothes that I wouldn't mind throwing away afterward). I won 1st place in the spoo...

Our Summer Bucket List. What We Have Been Up To. My Two Week Menu (and a recipe). Our Trip To The Pony Farm. The Things They Say. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. I have low self esteem and lack confidence and that prevents me from things all.the.time. Nope I don't think so. So, why do I care. It's not just mothering either; it is e...

Mommy......A work in Progress: May 2013
http://ashley-mommyaworkinprogress.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Currently (the Kendra edition). A Weekend at The Beach, part 1. Sunday, May 19, 2013. After we packed up all our belongings and left the beach house we headed straight for the Olympic Game Farm. I have wanted to go here since I was a child and had never been. I think I was more excited than the kids to go! They said we could stop and take our time feeding the animals. They did recommend to not come to a complete stop around the elk and buffalo since they could. The zebra slobbered all over the car. They ...
