I ended up with 6 police officers in 3 different cars, 2 fire trucks an ambulance and country energy out the front of the house. The neighbours will have a field day gossiping about this! OMG… G...

Dances to the beet of her own drum. Fun, Family, Friends, Life. March 24, 2008. Posted by Mistress B in CJ. I have lots and lots of pics from camping so I thought I should break them up into separate activities to post. We left around 10am on Friday to travel to Wellington, NSW. We were meeting up with friends from Dubbo. All up we had 6 adults and 8 kids between the ages of 7 and 13 at the campsite. Saturday morning we went on a tour of the Phosphate Mine. Exploring through the mine tunnels. Many of...

Dances to the beet of her own drum. Fun, Family, Friends, Life. July 24, 2008. Posted by Mistress B in Ramblings. On the way down to Sydney a few days earlier, the kids and I had decided to explore one or two of the tourist drives around Katoomba. TJ was fascinated by what he called the dinosaur rock (use your imagination peoples! It was spectacular. A see of green as far as the eye could see with the blue haze in the background. My snaps do not do it justice. July 24, 2008. I see the dinosaur and a face...

Dances to the beet of her own drum. Fun, Family, Friends, Life. For something different……. July 25, 2008. Posted by Mistress B in Ramblings. I thought I’d share something of what the kids and I got up in Sydney before we picked up Widdle Shamrock. Some of you may and some of you may not know that I’m a good. Anyhow, we went to see the pope on Thursday. We started our day by taking the train into Circular Quay and we caught a ferry around the Darling Harbour. After lunch we made our way to the nearest bus...

Dances to the beet of her own drum. Fun, Family, Friends, Life. November 2, 2008. Posted by Mistress B in Funny Stuff. So yesterday evening we got out in the garden and harvested some of our produce. I was very pleased to be able to cart a bucketful of veges back down to my kitchen. TJ was quite fascinated with the whole project. It’s one thing for me to try to explain what grows under ground and how, but quite another to him to be able to actually see them being dug up. 8217; everything smelt. lol.

Well, I’ve been reading ya’lls blogs (ok not all of you but some of you) with reflections from the year and resolutions for the year to come and it got me thinking what my own would be. I guess my resolutions for next year are to NOT. Be sick for a good whack of the year. Put back on all the weight I’d lost over the previous 18 months. Set my kitchen alight or. Get b...

I haven’t particularly felt like smiling a lot this week, so today am taking you back to Wellington. For my next bat instalment. On Sunday after packing up camp, getting rained on. And jump starting our friend’s car. Cos they left the damn lights on all night. We were off on a tour of the Cathedral Cave. Some of the pics are. A bit grainy. I do apologise. In the same chamber were these cavities in ...

Dances to the beet of her own drum. Fun, Family, Friends, Life. A Chopping Good Time. May 24, 2008. Posted by Mistress B in Family. You are not going to believe what I’ve done to myself this time. Or maybe you will. But it’s still all the PSLS’s fault! He broke the axe earlier this week and that’s why it’s his fault. Fiddled a bit more trying to get the new handle to fit. Dropped the axe………….It just slipped right out of my fingers, like in slow motion. Landed on my foot. They are just sliced up some.
