Danny Chisholm: February 2008
http://dannychisholm.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Observations about Baptist life and the church in general. Friday, February 29, 2008. It happens every four years. We get an extra day. So, Leap Year 2008 is here and our additional day has come and gone. Component to the Christian faith. I've grown up in a climate that places a premium on doctrinal truths and at times th...

Danny Chisholm: When Pastors endorse Politicians
http://dannychisholm.blogspot.com/2008/02/when-pastors-endorse-politicians.html
Observations about Baptist life and the church in general. Thursday, February 14, 2008. When Pastors endorse Politicians. That Baptist Ain't Right. Well said. Unfortunately, many see a political solution to spiritual problems. When the church tries to use the civil authority to accomplish the work of Christ, both the church and state become unbearable. Danny Chisholm: November 2007
http://dannychisholm.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Observations about Baptist life and the church in general. Wednesday, November 28, 2007. A teacher, a teddy bear, and a temper. The 54-year old teacher didn't even name the fuzzy creature, but allowed a student to suggest the name. Mohammed is an accepted name for men in the Middle East, but apparently giving an animal such a name is blasphemous. Freedom of religion (and from religion) is a precious right we Americans have and it is difficult to understand a worldview with such hostility toward a teacher...
