Monday, June 26, 2006. So Jeff and I have been experimenting with some new and exciting fruits over the past few months. Although most of our original pictures were stolen, here are a few shots of our most recent trials. This time the mangosteens were ripe. This is a picture of some custard apples. The taste great and have a sort of banana texture. The inside of a dragon fruit is the most luscious thing you've ever seen. It is HOT pink and looks really juicy. Here we have a mangosteen and a dragon fruit.

Sunday, August 27, 2006. Well, we just got back from our trip to the East coast. The road trip breaks. Tia finally seeing some marine life (a huge seal popped up right in front of my board). Hanging around in Halifax. Getting a pretty sweet wetsuit tan. Since being back we've spent a week working in the bush outside of Chalk River and just celebrated Andria and Travis Barber's wedding. This week we're moving back up to Ottawa and will finally be back into some semblance of a routine.

Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Last night both parents of one of my old childhood friends were killed in a car accident. It’s been a few years since I last talked to my friend.
