Thursday, June 9, 2011. San Diego Tri Classic UP Next. I will take the time to write a race report soon about St. Geroge. I am trying to work, study and be mom right now. Team picked up May 21. We have had two bikes, lots of swims it seems and some runs. I really need to work the run and loose the weight for the bike. Thomas' Reds Team plays in the championship game Saturday night. Friday, December 9, 2011. Well, I think I can some up the last few months. The TEAM started for Lavaman/SuperSeal season! We volunteered at Ironman Arizona to get in for next year. Sam and I drove down together and had bike transition in the am and finishline duties in the pm. One word amazing! Then, this past weekend Sam and I ran Las Vegas 1/2 Marathon! Stayed tune for the Ironman schedule, pictures and TEAM events! Also, Sam has a big surprises for Thomas coming in the new year :).

I feel that if I traced my lineage back I would find Popeye somewhere in my bloodline. Every time I start ramping up my swim volume my forearms become more noticably massive. Not something cool like my shoulders or biceps, but my forearms. Are women attracted to big forearms? Now all I need is an anchor tattoo and a corncob pipe.

Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Tried a zone 2 ride at Lake Miramar. And I think I went too hard. The level of effort seemed too high. Next time I need to shoot for a HR of 110-115. However I AM pleased with the HR distribution, I was able to stay in a relatively tight range. 342 miles in 2:15:47. Average mph = 15.1. Average HR = 118bpm. Thursday, July 2, 2009. My body is awesome. Every time I ramp up the training my body responds with injury or sickness. The latest debacle was an hour-long episode of pool running last Friday. It was at LA Fitness at their indoor pool and it was very humid. My body's response? I've had a head cold/sinus infection since Saturday. And Vineman is in 17 days. Despite the fact that I only got in 138 miles on the bike in January, TCSD came in 1st place for the month in both biking miles and total miles (click chart at left to zoom in). Luckily there was a lot of people to take up my slack. My personal miles for the month came out to be:. As of today I am getting over a cold and numerous ankle/knee issues, hopefully I can start training to get my run base back up. Oceanside is in 10 weeks!
