Dad sent me pictures today around 6pm (6am Singapore time) of him queuing up to pay respects to LKY, and my Aunt’s family had gotten there even earlier, around 5am. 6 hours later, Dad has said his last goodbyes to the late Minister Mentor, and as he puts it, “fulfilled his wish as a Singaporean.”. If you have nothing good to say about Mr. Lee, then diam. Lah The man is dead, better give him some respect.

I woke up in the middle of the night yesterday rather sweaty with a tearing pain in my chest and to get through this morning’s pile of news I basically doused myself with coffee. If only they had IV drips for caffeine. That is besides the point. Just as I remember last night. I wish I wouldn’t. It doesn’t pay to be speculating and wanting to peek at the ending.
