I have been training faithfully for the John Muir Trail for the last month. Yes, this is my real voice. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. I came to the conclusion that maybe I'm always tired because I'm dehydrated. I was never good at drinking that much (unless it was soda). Since the soda ban, I probably consume maybe one beverage per day. Awful, I know, especially for someone with a health sciences degree. But I've been this way since I was a kid. It makes me ravenous! Yes, this is my real voice. Sunday, January 24, 2010. The subbing stuff is finally sorted out. I don't even want to spend time explaining - that's how over it I am. I started the long-term sub position this past Tuesday teaching 4th grade writing and 4th and 5th grade math. So far, so good. As The World Turns. Wednesday, May 05, 2010. Life is pretty good right now and I'm trying to enjoy every minute I can. My third half- marathon is this weekend and I'm getting excited about it. I haven't set any goal for it, I just want to finish it in the same or less time than I did last year. I've been struggling with heel problems the last month or so and I finally went to the doctor and now it feels pretty good so running has returned to being the release in my day that I need.
