Sunday, October 30, 2011. Oct 14-16, 2011. Tim took a road trip to DC with the guys for the Clemson/Maryland game. They enjoyed touring the Smithsonian Museums, biking around the city at night to see the monuments, and celebrating a win for the tigers. Oct 21-23, 2011. Sean tossing up leaves. James in the box. Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Ruby meets the rest of the family. On Ruby's one week old birthday my mother-in-law drove me down the mountain to SC to meet up with my mom for a weekend in Anderson. Isn't this the sweetest? I slept awful last night and have decided I will NEVER take benedryl again.it has the opposite effect on me. I thought it would knock me out last night, but instead I found myself watching the news at 3 am. Despite the sickness, I got some quality time with my girl today. It's been a while since I wrote a post, it has been a whirlwind around here. We've been super busy just doing life and trying to figure out things since I am staying home. It's been a lot bigger of an adjustment than I thought it would be.not just because I'm not teaching or because we've gone from 2 incomes to 1. This is one of those times in life when I know God is teaching me and really stretching me. More to come later about what I'm learning.Laney's crying, nap time is over :). Some of my Favorites.

Most wives think their husband is great, or at least they should think he's great.but my husband is REALLY GREAT! Not only does he do this stuff when I'm sick, but we share chores and responsibilities all the time. He helps me keep the house clean, he plays with the kids, he helps me with the kids bath and bedtime on top of all of his other responsibilities in life. I seriously could not ask for a better husband! Isn't this the sweetest? Despite the sickness, I got some quality time with my girl today.

God's in control.that's a statement that I've confidently lived by for quite sometime. I mean I grew up learning it, I've taught it to others and I've lived it. He'll never give us more than we can handle.another statement that I know, grew up knowing, have taught others and lived. God threw us a curveball last month. A HUGE curveball, but a good curveball. This IS Why I Teach. I am so very thankful I said "yes" when God told me to go back. I absolutely LOVE getting up every morning and seeing 57 young womens' faces.
