Monday, December 14, 2009. Todos Santos on my Mind. It was an all-immersing experience. Most of the team hadn't worked with each other or even met each other before meeting up in Guatemala City but we pretty quickly got into an easy working relationship that felt very comfortable and mutually supportive. We had 2 amazing translators from Todos Santos: Benita who speaks Mam and Spanish, and Andres who speaks Mam-Spanish-English - his English much appreciated by those of us with more rudimentary Spanish.

Saturday, November 27, 2010. I have never seen such an expressive sad face in a dog like I saw this morning when Nosey realized we were leaving TS, she turned her back to us and her face.what an expression of sadness, seriously and I think the rest of the team will agree with me. Nosey we will miss you! We made it to Antigua and tonight we are all getting a few gallos and some food at the Portal Latino. Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Heading Back to Todos Santos for Phase 5. Last March, in 2012, we brought a small team to Todos Santos and did only surgical sterilizations (male and female). The change from the chemical sterilizations of the males was because there had been a severe delayed complication with the chemical in Chile and we didn't want to risk it, nor we're we able to be there long enough to treat any delayed complications. Saturday, February 9, 2013. Amalia talks to the school kids. We split the morning at the school into 3 sections: 1st the Grade 1-2s, then the Grade 3-4s and finally the grade 5-6s. The younger kids got a story which contained a bit of information again about how to be safe around dogs, what to do if bitten by a dog, and some of the dogs needs (clean water and food, rabies vaccines every year). Children listening to a story. They drew pictures of the dogs, of a rabid dog, of a dog having surgery etc.
