Sunday, April 02, 2006. Two outstanding scientists in Claude Chappe! Richard Lea and Olivier Sandra spent a couple hours with us again last Friday. First of all, I would like to congratulate the students who were present on that day because they really tried their best to ask questions. Science in school has led the students to write short stories inspired by some of the things they understood about the topic the two scientists developped. But of course it is only mere fiction! Sunday, February 05, 2006. When I agreed to participate in this project called Science in Schools, organized by Sandrine Mahieu from the British Council, I didn’t really know what it would be like. But as I like a bit of adventure in my daily life, I tried to prepare this visit as well as I could. Richard Lea, a British scientist from a Scottish lab, and Olivier Sandra from the INRA both work on the same project. What was the topic of their presentation? Actually, I have to say I was quite proud of them.
