Ramblings from a rambler. Monthly Archives: August 2014. Down the river, again…. Last summer I made a vow that I would not go another summer without returning to Alaska to float a river, even if I had to do it by my self. Foley and Ian signed on to the idea. Foley has since suffered with back problems, so for the second time the river adventure will be just the two of us, Ian and me. Dropped off our raft at air freight yesterday, along with most of our camp gear. The trip has begun! By tomcoble .

Given my hospital experience with ibprophen I am very cautious and take them with lots of liquids and food. Still it works and for that I am grateful. Funny how we crave what we don’t have….
