Red Rock Report: February 2011
http://redrockreport.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tony and Judy's Southwest Journal. Sunday, February 27, 2011. One of our favorite and most interesting sites in the area is the V bar V Ranch. On this deserted ranch can be found some of the most pristine examples of Indian Rock Art in all of Arizona. We have visited this site with company and on our own several times. There are hundreds of pictographs chipped into a rock face. Over the years, archaeoastronomers. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Painting with Michael Chesley Johnson, et al. This part of 152...

Red Rock Report: January 2009
http://redrockreport.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tony and Judy's Southwest Journal. Saturday, January 31, 2009. Tumblin', tumblin' Tumbleweed. Well we made it across Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico today. It was a long and windy trek. There were very strong cross winds that blew a lot of tumbleweeds into the grill. And all those trucks, fuggedaboudit. Tomorrow, finally off to Sedona. We picked up another hour heading west today, so chances are we'll be up early. If so, we'll get on the road at the crack of dawn and arrive in the early afternoon. Well, w...

Red Rock Report: April 2009

Tony and Judy's Southwest Journal. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. When Judy's cousin Bonnie and husband John were here recently, Bonnie and I tried to get out painting one day. Bonnie is an accomplished watercolorist and wanted to try her hand at some plein air red rocks. But, alas, we were having too much fun touring to squeeze that in. Here they are. Quite a difference in styles. It is always fun to have several people work on the same scene and see the results. Guess who did which one. The pastel is mount...

Red Rock Report: The Joys of Taking the Back Roads
http://redrockreport.blogspot.com/2012/05/joys-of-taking-back-roads.html
Tony and Judy's Southwest Journal. Saturday, May 5, 2012. The Joys of Taking the Back Roads. This colt was only recently born as we saw it try to stand and take its first steps. Unfortuately, I only got a photo of the sky when the colt stood for the first time. But very quickly, it was on its feet and feeding. By the time I got back in the Jeep and was heading in the right direction, the colt was already jogging around the field under the protection of its mother. May 18, 2012 at 8:25 AM.

Red Rock Report: March 2010
http://redrockreport.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tony and Judy's Southwest Journal. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. As JeepN and Hiking are big parts of our life out here, we took them on a ride and up some dusty trails. Tom and Peg really enjoyed the Jeep trek across, down and up the Diamondback Gulch. The scenery is just outstanding. Besides the fun of the gulch there are tremendous vistas and views of some of the local wild life. Below is one final photo of the Wilfongs on the trail to the Twin Buttes. Remind you of SNL? Monday, March 29, 2010. From Stanto...

Red Rock Report: March 2011
http://redrockreport.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tony and Judy's Southwest Journal. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Kaleigh and Mia's Excellent Adventure. We could see the blue sky off in the distance so we figured it wouldn't last too long. It was really cool to see how quickly water funnelled down over the redrocks. We managed to make it over some of the slick rock and through some mini flash floods and worked our way down the trail taking time for a few photo ops. Sorry about the water on the lens. After the slot canyon we stopped by Horseshoe Bend where...

Red Rock Report: February 2010
http://redrockreport.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Tony and Judy's Southwest Journal. Sunday, February 28, 2010. The next time we took the cut-off for the lower trail. This trail also had great scenery and was a little easier on the thighs than the upper trail. We've done the lower loop again since the first time and it will definitely go on the list of trails to do for our company. Here are a few photos. Remember, you can double click on the photo to zoom it. Monday, February 22, 2010. Then, the 4 of us took the short hike into Fay Canyon and ate lunch ...

Tony and Judy's Southwest Journal. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Rafting the Colorado (OK, floating the Colorado). Here are some pictures that either Pam or I took. In fact, some of the photos from Antelope were Pam's too. Beautiful views of the Navajo Sandstone walls in Glen Canyon as the Colorado works its way toward the Grand Canyon. Our intrepid guide, Kyle. Friday, April 23, 2010. BTW, just to prove we were actually in Cleveland, here are a couple of memories of the trip. Antelope Canyon - Page, AZ.

Art Gallery at Patriot Place: Our Grand Re-opening Weekend
http://artgalleryatpatriotplace.blogspot.com/2014/07/our-grand-re-opening-weekend.html
Becoming a Featured Artist. NEW : : Art Classes. Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Our Grand Re-opening Weekend. I looked up and this seemingly out of control lady on roller skates was coming towards me yelling,. I do not know how to stop! That roller skating lady had some strange travel companions. Can you imagine seeing a twleve foot tall alien walking through an art gallery? Or being hugged by a hot dog named Frank? It is always a fun time when visiting the Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place.".
