Personal Thoughts on Life, Ministry and Theology. June 27, 2011. I have not blogged in over a month. I knew that, but it also helped that I do have two loyal friends to remind me. One was telling me the past few times we hung out and the other sent me a text message tonight. I feel as thought I owe someone, myself, and those who seem to find their way here daily an explanation. I haven’t blogged in over a month for one reason. Lack of motivation. I refuse to turn into the pastor who only will preach, tal...

A Conversation: primarily with myself. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. An interesting interview giving insight into what is happening within North American Christendom. Word of caution: Don't confuse the use of the term Emergence with the organization Emergent Village, which is digging its own doctrinal grave. Emergence is descriptive, and can be likened to an Awakening. Interview with Phyllis Tickle. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Blair, NE, United States. View my complete profile.

FindThe01: May 2011
http://findthe01.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 5, 2011. This passage really hit me hard. What an awesome example of what a group of people can accomplish when they allow the Lord to stir up their hearts (Ex36:2)! I mean, take a look: the Israelites gave of themselves so much that the had to be 'restrained. They had given more than enough to accomplish what God was calling them to. What would this sort of sacrifice look like in modern Christianity? How do church leaders compel their communities to this point? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
