Tank Brush: Lehr Anti-Tank Stands
http://tankbrush.blogspot.com/2011/06/lehr-anti-tank-stands.html
Tuesday, June 14, 2011. I've been working on building a Late-War list that incorporates most of the models of my Mid-War list. It hasn't been so easy. But then I discovered the Panzer Lehr Panzergrenadiers! They'll work great - Just needed to add some AT stands to my Combat Platoons. I dug through my assorted figs and scrounged up enough Panzerfaust teams (with bases from my old Panzer 3J Platoon box) to get 6 stands! Of course, then I discovered that they're supposed to be Panzerschrek teams. DOH!

http://tankbrush.blogspot.com/2011/11/d-day-to-victory.html
Wednesday, November 9, 2011. We're coming up on Remembrance Day. Here in Canada, and I wanted to share an Online Experience we built at Secret Location. My employer). It's called D-Day to Victory. And was created on behalf of History television to promote a docu-series of the same name. But before you go and click on the link, it's (unfortunately) Geo-locked to Canada only. And most of you reading this won't get to see the actual site. I've uploaded a series of images. I only wish I could have been more.

Tank Brush: Tweets from WWII
http://tankbrush.blogspot.com/2011/10/tweets-from-wwii.html
Friday, October 21, 2011. Nothing much to report on the hobby front, but I wanted to share this great link that I got forwarded: Real Time Tweets from 1939. Pretty interesting to see that stuff coming in. I've been doing a lot of trades/sales, mostly to build up my Flames of War collection, which seems to be the only game/models I have any interest in of late. I'm not foregoing all. Other companies' games, but I've narrowed down my interests considerably. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tank Brush: Wreck Markers
http://tankbrush.blogspot.com/2011/12/wreck-markers.html
Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Earlier this month I built about two dozen wreck markers. I had been thinking about making some for a while now, ever since Sean Morris (theterrainguy) posted a process video. On RHQ's YouTube channel. I'm pretty happy with the end result and hope that these markers will see action on the table very soon. as long as it's not. More images after the break). I followed Sean's instructions with only a couple of minor alterations:. I used Foliage Clusters. Both from Woodland Scenics.

Valeur et Discipline: September 2012
http://valeuretdiscipline.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Most of my Castillan force for Maurice are in white uniforms. Not only is this easy to do in this scale, but it's also a pretty striking color:. I haven't decided on a name for the Regimental Colonel but he likes his fancy uniforms. He pays for them so he gets to wear what he wants. I've added flags to all my finished units. They're random, but nobody will notice. They've also got personalized license plates. Monday, September 24, 2012. From the Archives: Imperial Mashup.

Thursday, August 1, 2013. Napoleonics Redux: 25mm Napoleonics, Speed Painted. So I'm back at the Toronto Historical Miniatures Gamers. Club lately, and one of the guys wanted to play Songs of Drums and Shakos. This week. "Sure," I said, though I'd never played and have no painted figures. Then I went rooting around my drawers to see what I could find. Technique. Here's what 6 hours' work gets you:. 2 Block paint the figures in the most mundane way possible. Complete coverage. Is the goal, even over preci...
