Wednesday, August 6, 2008. A time of readjustment. As you may have guessed, I am back in Minnesota. Actually, a couple days after I landed back in the states I drove up north to Grand Marais with my parents for the week. We take this little jaunt every summer, so luckily even with my 6 month get-away we were able to head to Lake Superior once again. Didi stayed kept an eye on the house for us. ;). Thursday, June 12, 2008. Taking a break right now from studying (It's korean which should be no surprise). Chowing on this awesome candy my sis gave me from the states. yummmmmm. After studying non-stop for the past two weeks, I have to say that this is the MOST studying I have done since coming to Korea; And I'm sick of it. SICK OF IT! Saturday, June 21, 2008. I'm so sad. Last day for Vianey and Pang씨. After paying her, I realized I had only 15,000 won to last me the next two days. So I emptied out my account. Then I had 25,000 won to last me the next two days. I almost had a heart attack. I need to buy shoes. and hair boes. and magazines. and food. most importantly food. Next we went to Apkujeong (rich city) to get 5 dollar cheesecakes at Cafe La Lee. I was disapointed. Totally not worth a poor person's money. Sushi and the sexy movie.

I ended up skipping my Language class because I was too lazy to leave the room (even though I left the room earlier that day to get a Bacon Tomato Deluxe at McDonalds). Voodoo magic. Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Korean Class and Fish Ice cream. This is my my Korean language class (one of our two teachers (선생님). I'm not going to lie. Our class is a good time. Yes, we celebrate birthdays(생일) with cake (less sweet than what I am used to in the states, but still quite satisfying). And yes we play number games (삼, 육, 구.) for ice cream in the basement of the KLI (Korean Language Institute). Jealous? I know. Besides, how can you pass up such "angelic" faces? Talk about a mind and body workout.
