Die Insel Gigha (sprich: Gia) liegt vor der Halbinsel Kintyre an der Westküste Schottlands. Vielleicht hilft das Höhentraining, das ich letzte Woche mit Schneeschuhen im Wallis gemacht habe, beim Einstieg. Die fröhlichen Gruppenwanderungen im tiefen Schnee waren ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, aber nicht immer erschöpfend. Dreimal zog ich danach noch die Laufschuhe an und rannte hinauf zur Alp.
