My Life, No Regrets. Tuesday, May 31, 2016. I recently came across and read the 10/31/15 article by Vicki Abeles: We're destroying our kids - for nothing. And it resonated with me. The point of all of this, though, is over-achievement isn't the path of every child, nor should it be the expectation. I mean, what is over-achievement? It is performing better than some established, arbitrary norm. When the expectation is for all children to "over-achieve", then is the norm wrong? Just a thought. or two.

My Life, No Regrets. Sunday, January 4, 2015. Weightloss Journey: Where did that 100 lbs go? When I weighed in on 12/16/14, I crossed the line from 98 lbs to 101 lbs lost! It was only three pounds, however, those three pounds pushed me into the 3-digit realm of weight loss. I was so excited. Now I'm down about 105 lbs. It is just crazy to say it, and I've been telling EVERYONE! People I know, people I don't know. EVERYONE. I'm just so excited about hitting this milestone. I can't even fathom that.
