A Fierce Sunshine: Opportunity in Illness
http://www.afiercesunshine.com/2012/07/opportunity-in-illness.html
Blazing a path through life with RA. Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Pain, loss of mobility. Loss of a friend. This was my timeline of pain at the onset of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Misery doesn't cut such shallow lines of course, it sculpts cavernous ruins. Navigating the crevasse with only a sense of where you slid down makes coping with chronic illness an extreme sport. It's a natural human reaction to ruminate on loss. RA happened to me. How could I fight back when I was perpetually pinned down? Time ticked away...

A Fierce Sunshine: April 2012
http://www.afiercesunshine.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Blazing a path through life with RA. Sunday, April 15, 2012. I have this notion I am about fifteen years old in looks, and about nine mentally. I am often shocked when I see myself in pictures because I dont recognize the person. Or when I glimpse myself in the mirror at the gym…I look like somebodys mother. When did that happen? A Fierce Sunshine: The Losses: 4
http://www.afiercesunshine.com/2011/07/losses-4.html
Blazing a path through life with RA. Thursday, July 14, 2011. February lost me in a fog. My emotional roulette wheel was spinning, and its favorite emotion was denial. Oh goody, you have more unsolicited advice for me? Great I'm going to go crawl under this rock over here. Another book, website? Awesome, I love being terrified. I'll just lose that sticky note. Now please excuse me while I go back to my hidey hole. That was it. I deleted his number off my phone, unfriended him on Facebook. By this...Well,...

A Fierce Sunshine: The Etiquette of RA
http://www.afiercesunshine.com/2012/04/etiquette-of-ra.html
Blazing a path through life with RA. Monday, April 2, 2012. The Etiquette of RA. Is none of her business . Nor is it her business to inform me her viewpoint of what works, what doesn't, and if the martini offered is poison or not. Sure I have a vested interest in deciding if the ultimate payoff is worth the risk, do the drugs add quality of life while subtracting quantity? It's a hell of an equation, one without clear cut answers. This brings me to another point. Do not ever. What else requires work?

Operation Up The Duff: 23+3 weeks
http://operationuptheduff.blogspot.com/2012/09/233-weeks.html
Operation Up The Duff. Pregnancy, autoimmune arthritis and beyond. Wow the bump is huge and growing so fast! I am absolutely loving the kicks and high fives the baby is giving me. I can be watching it kick my stomach and then see a ripple as it moves across. We've been thinking of names and think we are fairly sorted now for a boy or a girl.No telling just yet though! I've been knitting some cardies and just can't wait to meet our baby. He or she wriggles lots and kicks when I put music near my bump!

Operation Up The Duff: 31 weeks
http://operationuptheduff.blogspot.com/2012/11/31-weeks.html
Operation Up The Duff. Pregnancy, autoimmune arthritis and beyond. I never thought I'd be pregnant still! The next goal is 32 weeks as I think that means that the baby has an even better chance. Top be honest I think at this stage if I got to 35 weeks I would consider myself fairly home and dry. Although I know deep down that still things do and can go wrong at 40 weeks. But all that is nothing I am going to worry about. Operation Up The Duff. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in thi...

http://operationuptheduff.blogspot.com/2012/11/334-and-georges-due-date-161112.html
Operation Up The Duff. Pregnancy, autoimmune arthritis and beyond. 33 4 and George's due date (16.11.12). The 16th November should have been a very different day to what it was this year. It was George's due date. I took some photos of his rose bush which is flowering again this year! Last week the consultant wanted to put me on a monitor to just check that everything was okay as I'd felt the baby move less. Turns out all was absolutely fine. Operation Up The Duff. Operation Up The Duff: 28+5
http://operationuptheduff.blogspot.com/2012/10/285.html
Operation Up The Duff. Pregnancy, autoimmune arthritis and beyond. It's 3am and I've been awake for a while feeling quite stressed. I think it's a combination of work, the thought of labour, being high risk, really uncomfortable and very cold. My husband has just got up to put the heating on it's so cold! Operation Up The Duff.
