When the travelbug bites, when inspiration strikes. Often when I stand at the threshold of change, I stop. I waver. I ponder. Fearing that one more step is going to throw me into a free fall, into the unknown. Like some, my first reaction to most things is not one of optimism. I learn that even when I don’t embrace changes, they come anyway. Sometimes as swift as a hawk swooping on its prey. At times, they creep up on you surreptitiously. Much like wrinkles on ageing skin. I can also choose to be prepared.
