The Life and Times of Telek Sterling: Rick Goes Mobile
http://teleksterling.blogspot.com/2008/07/rick-goes-mobile.html
The Life and Times of Telek Sterling. Tuesday, July 08, 2008. In Toorak this morning, Rick Williams surprised himself by spending a disproportionate amount of time at work configuring his mobile blogging capability. Instant" mobile blogging. Of course my phone, like Amy's has that functionality built-in but of course that doesn't work! Blogging by MMS is meant to be possible too, but doesn't work either, but who wants to pay 50 cents every time they want to blog? So what should I post about? View my comp...

The Life and Times of Telek Sterling: Man feels train 'crush'
http://teleksterling.blogspot.com/2008/07/man-feels-train-crush.html
The Life and Times of Telek Sterling. Wednesday, July 09, 2008. Man feels train 'crush'. I just had my fingers caught in the train door! It was crowded and I just managed to squeeze on with my back facing the doorway- one hand on the roof, one on my bag. As the doors slid against the outside of the train, I was shuffling my feet forward to make sure my heels weren't sticking out. Then as the doors met, and came in flush to the train, I felt a pressing feeling on my fingers. That would only happen to you!

The Life and Times of Telek Sterling: Weary worse for wear
http://teleksterling.blogspot.com/2008/07/weary-worse-for-wear.html
The Life and Times of Telek Sterling. Monday, July 21, 2008. Weary worse for wear. It's official. I'm tired. Not exhausted or sleepy, but just really worn out. I'm not sure why but last night's sleep just didn't seem to cut it. Perhaps tonight will be better. The main reason is that I find that it's just not that important to me! But let's look at it this way- the last time I logged on to my home PC, I downloaded 60 days worth of emails. It's not a frequent occurrence. Sent from Rick's mobile phone - -.

Nothing to do but read: June 2007
http://booksontour.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Nothing to do but read. Friday, June 15, 2007. A Spot of Bother. This was the book I needed to read after American Pastoral. Fast, entertaining, witty and surprisingly moving. Haddon’s other great skill, in my opinion, is constructing a fascinating storyline. I read this novel basically in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of these characters lives. I will certainly be looking out for Haddon’s next novel. He might just be my new Nick Hornby…. It didn’t. The ending of the novel (ce...I was r...
