Mona Evans takes you on a trip. Denise and I had an uneventful flight home. Arrived stiff, tired and jet lagged with many daylight hours left! She had a 5 hour (yuk! Sig and Martha, who we’ve met several times, made me feel very welcome and had their camper ready for me! I really appreciated having my own space! I spent the better part of 3 days visiting and snuggling and playing! It’s been an awesome trip and I’m looking forward to being home! Thanks for all the great comments! San Jose, Costa Rica.

Mona Evans takes you on a trip. San Jose, Costa Rica. In Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Ecuador 2015-16. We arrived on Tuesday, Dec. 7th after a night in LA! No problems with customs, immigration etc! Spent Wednesday and Thursday on a tour of plantations and development areas! Spent Wednesday night at a beautiful hotel in Samara! Back in SJ, Friday was spent out and about in the local area! We are about a 45 min. walk from the central area! Stopped at a lovely little museum with a display of Costarican Art!

Mona Evans takes you on a trip. We got an early start with breakfast at 7:30, our bags packed, and at the train station by 8:30 in the hopes of buying a couple of the “first come, first served” tickets that are held back and sold on the platform each day. We’d tried buying advance tickets but those were sold out so this was a last ditch effort that was in the end successful! The trip is 84 miles return with a 1.5 hour lunch stop in the quaint little harbour town of Mallaig! Jacobite steam train pictures.

An Australian couple motorhoming in Europe. December 10, 2016. We decided to take a quick trip before the Christmas season got on its way. After leaving home under grey sky and drizzle, we drove 220Km north to blue skies and sunshine back to a favourite spot at Melville Caves. Didn't take long to break out the nibbles and drinks! This is what camping is all about. We made our way further North to Boort which has a lovely lake and the 'spanner man', who makes sculptures out of (you guessed it) spanners!
